Apple barley Pudding

a wonderful traditional irish pudding for everyone to enjoy
Ingredients
  Pearl barley 4 Tablespoon
  Apples 1 1⁄2 Pound, peeled
  Sugar 3 Tablespoon
  Heavy cream 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon
Directions

Boil the barley in water and add the apples
cook until both begin to soften
drain and then blend the mixture in a blender
add the sugar and the lemon
oncee again bring to a boil
cool and then chill
add the cream on top
