Quick Bread And Butter Pudding
|Butter/Margarine||4 Tablespoon, softened|
|White bread slice||12|
|Ground cinnamon||3⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Milk||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Vanilla extract||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
1. Preheat oven to 325°F. Grease 8" by 8" baking dish. Spread butter or margarine on bread slices. Arrange 4 slices of bread in dish in 1 layer, overlapping slightly if necessary; sprinkle lightly with 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon. Repeat, making 2 more layers.
2. In medium-sized bowl, with wire whisk or fork, beat milk, sugar, vanilla, salt, and eggs until well mixed. Pour egg mixture over bread slices. Bake 50 to 55 minutes, until knife inserted in center of pudding comes out clean.
