Spicy Bread Pudding
|Day old white bread slice||3 , cut into 1/3-inch cubes|
|Skim milk||1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)|
|Vanilla extract||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
1. Preheat oven to 350Â° F.
2. Place bread cubes in lightly greased 1-quart baking dish.
3. Warm skim milk in medium saucepan over low heat. Using fork or wire whisk, beat together egg yolks, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla extract and salt in small bowl. Beat in warm milk.
4. Pour egg-milk mixture over bread cubes. Bake for 50 to 55 minutes, until slightly puffed and crisp on top and bubbling around edges. Cool slightly before serving.
