Old Fashioned Vanilla Bread Pudding

Ingredients
  Dark brown sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Whole wheat bread slice 3
  Butter 2 Tablespoon
  Raisins 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Eggs 3
  Evaporated milk 1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
Directions

In 1 qt glass casserole, combine brown sugar, bread (buttered and diced in 1/2-inch cubes), and raisins.
In a mixing bowl blend eggs, milk, salt and vanilla.
Pour over bread mixture; lightly blend.
Microwave (high), covered, 8-10 minutes, rotating dish 1/4 turn halfway through cooking. (Edges are firm and center almost set.)
