Upside Down Date Pudding! Isn't your mouth watering already? I served this delicious dessert just last weekend for my family!. They loved it. Treat your family to the delectable Upside Down Date Pudding too!
  Pitted dates 1 Cup (16 tbs), snipped
  Boiling water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Granulated sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Packed brown sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Egg 1
  Butter 2 Tablespoon, melted
  All purpose flour 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Baking soda 1 Teaspoon
  Baking powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Walnuts 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped
  Packed brown sugar 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Boiling water 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Butter 1 Tablespoon
  Vanilla ice cream 1

Combine dates and 1 cup boiling water; cool.
Mix next 4 ingredients.
Stir together flour, soda, baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon salt; add to sugar mixture.
Stir in walnuts and date mixture.
Pour into 11x7x1 1/2-inch baking pan.
Combine 1 1/2 cups brown sugar, 1 1/2 cups boiling water, and 1 tablespoon butter; pour over date mixture.
Bake at 375° for 40 minutes.
