Old Fashioned Bread Pudding

Ingredients
  Vanilla flavor pudding and pie filling 3 Ounce (1 Package, 4 Serving Size)
  Sugar 4 Tablespoon, divided
  Milk 3 Cup (48 tbs), divided
  Raisins 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Grated lemon peel 2 Tablespoon
  Spread sticks 1 Tablespoon
  Vanilla 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Day old white bread slices 6 , cut into cubes
  Cinnamon 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Ground nutmeg 1⁄8 Teaspoon
Directions

Mix pudding mix and 2 tablespoons of the sugar in large saucepan.
Gradually stir in 2 cups of the milk.
Add raisins and lemon peel.
Stirring constantly, cook on medium heat until mixture comes to full boil.
Remove from heat; stir in spread and vanilla.
Pour remaining 1 cup milk over bread cubes in large bowl to moisten.
Stir in pudding mixture.
Pour into 1-quart baking dish.
Combine remaining 2 tablespoons sugar with cinnamon and nutmeg.
Sprinkle over pudding.
Heat broiler.
Broil 2 to 3 inches from heat 4 minutes or until sugar mixture is lightly browned and bubbly.
