|Eggs||2 , beaten|
|Ground cinnamon||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Day old bread slices||2 , cut in 1 inch cubes (2 Cups)|
|Packed brown sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Raisins||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Combine milk, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt; stir in bread cubes.
Stir in brown sugar and raisins.
Pour mixture into 8x1 3/4-inch round baking dish.
Place dish in larger shallow pan on oven rack; pour hot water into larger pan to depth of 1 inch.
Bake at 350° till knife inserted just off-center comes out clean, about 45 minutes.
Serve with sauce.
