Make Your Own Chocolate Pudding

Make your own chocolate pudding is a rich and delicious chocolate pudding. Made with milk and oodles of sugar, the chocolate pudding is flavored with vanilla and cooked to prepare. Thickened and chilled to set, it is best served cold.
  Chocolate 1 (unsweetened)
  Skim milk 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Sugar 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Cornstarch 3 Tablespoon
  Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon

In the bottom half of a medium size double boiler, bring about 1 cup water to a simmer over moderate heat about 2 minutes.
Place the chocolate in the top half of the double boiler and melt it over the gently bubbling water in the bottom half about 2 minutes.
Stir in PA cups of the milk and the sugar, cover, and heat for 3 minutes or until the milk is very hot.
In a measuring cup, blend the cornstarch with the remaining milk; stir into the hot chocolate mixture.
Cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture has thickened and is smooth about 1 minute.
Cover and cook 15 minutes longer; then mix in the vanilla extract.
Spoon the pudding into serving bowls, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate at least 3 hours before serving.
