Basic Egg Pudding

If you are looking for some easy Chinese dish to please your daughters, this Basic egg dish will very well do the trick for you. As everyone knows, egg only gets better with ham and so is this Basic Egg Pudding. Your kids will love them too.
  Egg yolks 6
  Cornstarch 1 Tablespoon
  Water 2 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Oil 4 Tablespoon
  Smoked ham 2 Tablespoon

1. Beat egg yolks until thick and lemon-colored. Blend cornstarch and cold water to a paste; then add to eggs, along with salt. Stir in well.
2. Heat oil to smoking. Add eggs; then reduce heat to medium-low. Cook, stirring in one direction, until mixture is smooth, thick and pudding-like.
3. Pour into a serving bowl. Mince smoked ham and sprinkle over as a garnish.
