Rich Chocolate Pudding
|Superfine sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (Firmly Packed)|
|All purpose flour||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Unsweetened cocoa||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Chocolate sauce||1 Tablespoon (To Serve)|
1 Beat the eggs and sugar together in a 1.75 litre/3 pint (7 1/2 cup) mixing bowl until thick and pale (about 4 minutes). Use an electric whisk or rotary beater.
2 Put the sieved flour and cocoa on a dinner plate and microwave on full power for 5 seconds.
3 Using a metal tablespoon, lightly fold the warmed cocoa and flour into the egg mixture.
4 Pour into an ungreased 1.2 litre/2 pint (5 cup) ovenproof glass pudding basin (slope sided mold).
5 Microwave on full power for 3 1/2 minutes.
6 Allow to stand for 3 minutes before turning out.
