Chocolate Bread Pudding
|Soft breadcrumbs||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Cocoa||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Chopped pecans/Walnuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Milk||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Vanilla extract||1 Teaspoon|
Combine breadcrumbs, cocoa, and pecans, stirring well; set aside.
Beat eggs with a wire whisk until foamy; gradually add sugar, beating well 1 minute.
Stir in milk, vanilla, salt, and breadcrumb mixture.
Pour mixture into a lightly greased 1 3/4 quart casserole.
Bake at 350° for 45 to 50 minutes or until set.
