Fruit Pudding

Ingredients
  Melted butter 1 Tablespoon
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Egg 1
  Salt 3⁄4 Teaspoon
  Flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
  Milk 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Sweetened fruit with juice 2 Cup (32 tbs) (fruit and juice combined to make 2 cups)
Directions

Put fruit and juice in bottom of baking dish.
Cream butter and sugar and add egg.
Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with milk.
Pour batter over fruit.
Bake at 350 degrees for forty minutes or steam for one hour.
