  Egg 1
  Sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Cornstarch 3 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Milk 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Butter/Margarine 1 Tablespoon
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
  Canned fruit cocktail 2 Cup (32 tbs), drained

Beat egg in saucepan.
Stir in sugar, cornstarch, and salt.
Stir in milk; cook and stir over medium heat until thickened.
Cook and stir 1 minute longer.
Stir in butter and vanilla.
Add fruit.
