Prune Fluff

Ingredients
  Prunes 1⁄2 Pound
  Cinnamon 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Cornstarch 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Lemon juice 1 Teaspoon
  Egg whites 2 , beaten (stiffly)
  Nuts 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped
Directions

Cook prunes in 2 cups water until tender; drain.
Re- move pits; cut prunes into small pieces.
Combine prunes, cinnamon, sugar and 1 1/2 cups boiling water in saucepan; simmer for 10 minutes.
Blend cornstarch with small amount of cold water; stir into prune mixture.
Cook for 5 minutes, stirring con- stantly.
Let cool.
Fold in lemon juice, egg whites and nuts.
Pour into serving dishes; chill.
