|Dried prunes||1 Pound|
|Water||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|Lemon||1⁄4 (use rind)|
1) In a slow cooker, put all the ingredients except for the vanilla.
2) Cover the cooker and cook on LOW for 10 to 12 hours, or even overnight if preferred.
3) Take the cover off and turn off the heat. Add the vanilla and stir.
4) Transfer the Stewed Prunes to a decorative serving plate and serve lukewarm, at room temperature or chilled.
