Plump the prunes by cooking for a little while (or soak them overnight) and then stone them and fill with any of the following: 6 oz.
cream cheese mixed with 2 oz.
Season well and dust with paprika or stuff with just a nut.
Or stuff with either chopped spring onion, chopped celery or fresh oregano, mixed with cream cheese and seasoned to taste, and seasoned to taste.
Or stuff with cream cheese flavoured with horseradish and a few drops of lemon juice and a dusting of cayenne.
Stuffed prunes may be placed on slices of grapefruit, or pineapple and garnished with parsley or chives.
