Spiced Prunes

Ingredients
  Dried prunes 1 Pound
  Boiling water 1 Liter
  Lemon slices 4
  Orange slice 4
  Seedless raisins 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Cinnamon 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Nutmeg 1⁄8 Teaspoon
Directions

1. Put prunes into a 1-quart jar; cover with boiling water.
2. Add remaining ingredients; cover.
3. Refrigerate 1 week.
4. Serve with cream, if desired.
