  Red wine 8 Fluid Ounce (250 Milliliter)
  Port wine/Cream sherry 8 Fluid Ounce (250 Milliliter)
  Bay leaves 3
  Cinnamon stick 1
  Juniper berries 6
  Lemon rind strip 1 Large
  Muscovado sugar 1 Tablespoon
Directions

Place all the ingredients in a saucepan and simmer gently until the prunes are plump and the syrup is reduced until almost none remains.
