Prune Casserole

Ingredients
  Whole wheat bread cubes 4 Cup (64 tbs), toasted
  Prunes 2 Cup (32 tbs), cooked, pitted and sliced
  Apples 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
  Prune juice 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Water 1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Ground cinnamon 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Margarine 2 Teaspoon
Directions

Place half of the toasted bread cubes in a well-greased 1 1/2 qt. (1 1/2 L) casserole.
Spread the prunes in a layer over the bread cubes.
Arrange the apples in a layer over the prunes, then layer the remaining bread cubes.
Combine prune juice, water, salt, cinnamon and margarine in a saucepan.
Bring to a boil; cook for 3 minutes.
Pour over prume casserole.
Cover.
Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 1 hour.
