Tomato garnish looks lovely but will the sour taste complement the subtly flavored martini?

Hi thot4food, The choice of garnish completely depends on the taste of the person. There are people, who like their martini to be on the sour side, whereas many prefer the sweet-tasted martini. You can definitely add little bit of syrup to make the martini less sour, if you want to. Ultimately, it's up to you to garnish and to enjoy your favorite drink. Thanks for commenting.
