How To Use Pureed Vegetables In Salad Dressing

You can use pureed vegetables in salad dressings for a great flavor and taste. Use pureed vegetables instead of raw veggies to add texture to your salad. Most salads have some oils mixed in them. These oils can have certain properties that have a bad affect on the heart and the body. To reduce the intake of fats, using pureed vegetables in salads is highly beneficial.


Use pureed vegetables as a part of homemade salad dressing. This is complete with the required nutrients without preservatives. Using pureed vegetables in raw foods enhances the flavor and importantly the look of the salad.


Here are a few ingredients required to use pureed vegetables in salads. To use pureed vegetables in raw foods, make use of a food processor or blender. Bell peppers, garlic cloves, extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar, parmesan cheese, parsley, spinach, mayonnaise, Greek yoghurt, red wine vinegar, fresh basil, lemon juice salt, peer and champagne vinegar are essential to use pureed vegetables in salad dressings.


Follow these precautions before using pureed vegetables in salads.


 Roasting bell peppers:  Always roast the bell peppers in broilers. The entire bell pepper has to be evenly blistered. Once done, warp it in a plastic wrap and allow it to cool. Remove skin, core and seeds. Store them in a jar. Roasted bell peppers are required for using pureed vegetables in salad dressings.


Tasty dressing: Blend one avocado with seed along with half a cup plain yogurt and quarter cup olive oil with some lime. Use pureed vegetables for a tasty dressing.


Salad with tomato dressing


Take some Italian or Roma tomatoes. Peel and remove seeds. Chop and keep aside. Next, take some garlic cloves. Use one crushed garlic clove. Add this crushed garlic to chopped tomatoes. Mix with one tablespoon of balsamic vinegar. In a food processor, add two table spoons of extra virgin olive oil add the mixed ingredients and blend. Make a smooth puree. Use pureed vegetables on fresh salad greens that have been chilled.


A dressing of red pepper


In a food processor, place a jar of roasted red peppers.  Add some parmesan cheese, quarter cup mayonnaise, two tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, Greek yogurt. Before blending, add a tablespoon of red wine vinegar. Make a smooth puree. Use pureed vegetables in salads.


Dressing with spinach and parsley


Take half cup each of spinach leaves and parsley. Place them in a blender. Add one tablespoon fresh basil. Add a seasoning of dried herbs, lemon juice and salt, some champagne vinegar, garlic and pepper. Mix quarter cup mayonnaise before blending. Before using pureed vegetables, check the seasoning.


Use pureed vegetables to make a variety of delicious salad dressings.
