Tips on cleaning leafy greens and the various ways they can be prepared.
It is advisable to buy more leafy greens in winter as opposed to summers as heat makes them bitter. Select fresh bunches which are vibrant and bright in color and refrigerate them by keeping them in perforated plastic bags. Clean the greens just before using to avoid limping.
