One of the richest sauces for pizza – this sauce is a rich combination of soy sauce, cider vinegar, honey, sesame oil, peanut butter, fresh minced ginger, fresh garlic and cayenne pepper which adds a tangy, spicy taste to the pizza. You can use a small mixing bowl to combine the ingredients and stir them well till they are well blended. Your guests will love the taste and flavor of peanuts.

 


Pesto sauce:

 

Pesto sauce is a savory pizza sauce which has been in use since years. However, in the recent years, it has become quite popular as a sauce for pizza. The main ingredients used to prepare this sauce are basil leaves, pine nuts, garlic, parmesan cheese, and extra virgin olive oil. The ingredients are well combined and cooked for 2-3 minutes before serving.

Barbecue sauce on pizza does taste amazing! Iv known about Alfredo and Pesto sauces and used them as dips and sauces for pasta but never thought of using them as a sauce for pizza. Thanks these were great ideas.

Whenever I prepare pizza at home, I use the normal pizza sauce. But, all these ideas are so exciting, that I am feeling like trying all of them at a time...!!!

Can u please suggest a milder version of the barbecue sauce? I love the idea but the hot sauce and catsup would really be too spicy for me

Thanks for the wonderful sauces, Sudipa ! They give you a nice break from the conventional tomato and cheese sauces. Do you think a variation with a paste of ground peanuts will taste as good as the peanut butter variation for the peanut sauce?
