Ingredients :Coconut grated 1/2 , Tamarind 1/-2tsp, Sugar 1tsp, Mint leaves (pudina) small bunch.
Garlic flakes 4-5 nos , Chana dal 1tsp, jeera 1/2 tsp, salt, gr.chillies 3nos., Oil 2tsp, Karipatta.water.
Take a blender add the grated coconut&all the above ingredients and little water except karipatta & dal. Grind all to a paste.After the paste is formed take the chuttney out in a bowl. Take small kadai add oil and heat. Put jeera , dal, karipatta and let it splutter. After you see that the dal has turned brown , pour this over the chuttney and stir well. Coconut chutney is ready to be served with dasa,idli,kachori poori etc-
