1. Arbys Barbecue Sauce


Ingredients required: ketchup, 2 teaspoons water, 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon onion powder, 1/4 teaspoon pepper, 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon Tabasco pepper sauce.


Method: Combine all the ingredients in a small saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sauce begins to boil, 5 to 10 minutes.


2. Paprikamamas Homemade BBQ Sauce


Ingredients required: ketchup, worcestershire sauce, hickory smoke liquid, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, garlic minced, garlic powder, onion powder, molasses or honey, season salt, ground cumin, ground mustard, ground coriander, ground thyme, ground white pepper, Mrs. Dash all purpose seasoning, cavender's Greek season all and chicken boullion powder.


Method: Mix all together well and let sit for a few minutes before use.


3. Bubbas BBQ Sauce


Ingredients required: med. onion, 6 cloves garlic, ketchup, 3/4 c fresh orange juice, 1/4 c water, 1/4 c fresh lemon juice, red wine vinegar, tomato paste, honey, brown sugar, molasses, worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, chili powder, liquid smoke, ground coriander and Tobasco.


Method: Mix all the ingredients together in a saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture is thick. 


4. Maple Barbecue sauce


Ingredients required: ketchup, maple syrup, soy sauce, 1/4 cup vinegar, 1/4 cup minced onion, 1/4 cup finely chopped apple, 1/4 cup minced garlic, 2 tbs pepper, 2 tbs ginger and 2 tbs cajun seasoning.


Method: Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and simmer for 15 - 20 minutes, uncovered. Cool. Store, covered in refrigerator for up to a month.


5. Marks BBQ Sauce


Ingredients required: medium onion, olive oil, crushed pineapple, cloves of garlic, good soy sauce, minced ginger, 1/2 cup white wine, 3/4 cups brown sugar, 1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes, and salt/pepper to taste.


Method: Add all the ingredients in a large sauce pot and simmer until thickened. It can also be stored in refrigerator. 


6. Cowgirl BBQ Sauce


Ingredients required: yellow onion, 4 celery stalks, 1/2 cup ketchup, 1/2 cup water, 2 cups worcestershire sauce, 1/2 cup vinegar, 2 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin, 2 1/2 teaspoons chili powder, 2 1/2 teaspoons hot sauce, 2 1/2 teaspoons black pepper, 2 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt, 1/4 cup liquid smoke flavoring, 2 tablespoons brown sugar, 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard, and 2 tablespoons molasses.


Method: Puree onions and celery. In a large sauce pot combine the puree and the remaining ingredients and simmer for 30 minutes.


7. Honey Barbecue Sauce


Ingredients required: (6-ounce) can tomato paste, 1/2 cup honey, 1/4 cup red wine vinegar and 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard


Method: Combine all the ingredients in a sauce pan and simmer the mixture for 5 minutes. Makes about 1 and 1/2 cups of sauce. Leftover can be stored in the refrigerator for later use.  


8. Blueberry Barbecue Sauce


Ingredients required: 2 teaspoons olive oil, 1/4 cup minced onion, 1 tablespoon minced fresh jalapeno chile, 1/4 cup ketchup, 1 tablespoon honey, 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard, dash cayanne pepper, 2 cups frozen or fresh blueberries, salt and freshly ground pepper.


Method: Add the blueberries and all the other ingredients in a saucepan. Simmer over low heat and stir until thickened. Pass through a strainer and season with salt and pepper. Serve at room temperature.


9. BBQ Sauce


Ingredients required: 4 yellow onion, 1 Tbs canola oil, 2 tsp minced garlic (from a jar), 1/2 cup ketchup, 1 Tbs Dijon mustard, 1/2 Tbs worcestershire sauce, 1 Tbs white wine vinegar, 2 Tbs honey, 1 Tbs tomato paste, 1 Tbs Chipotle chili powder, 1/4 cup light brown sugar and 1 tsp black pepper. 


Method: Cook the garlic and onion until it's soft, and then add all the rest of the ingredients. Simmer on low for 20-30 minutes. Keep stirring it often so it doesn't burn, then refrigerate for a few days before you use it.


10. Apricot Barbecue Sauce


Ingredients required: 1/2 cup olive oil, 1/2 cup white wine vinegar, 1 cup apricot nectar, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard, 1 teaspoon salt shopping list and 1/2 teaspoon chili powder.


Method: Place all ingredients in a large stockpot and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. When sauce has reduced, strain through a sieve. Use immediately or store in an airtight container for up to 4 weeks..
