|Water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Light golden brown sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Confectioners' sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Vanilla extract||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Pecans||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs) (chopped)|
1. In a saucepan, add water, butter and bring to a boil, add brown sugar and confectioner-'s sugar and continue to boil for one minute, remove from heat.
2. Add vanilla and pecans and stir till the mixture begins to thicken.
3. Once the mixture thickens, immediately drop with teaspoon the mixture onto waxed papers.
4. Cool at room temperature.
5. Serve cool.
