Ingredients
  Light brown sugar 1 Pound
  Salt 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Evaporated milk 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Butter 2 Tablespoon
  Pecan halves 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Directions

Mix sugar, salt, milk, and butter in 2-qt.saucepan.
Cook, stirring constantly, over low heat until sugar is dissolved.
Add pecans and cook over medium heat to soft ball stage (234° on candy thermometer), stirring constantly.
Remove from heat; let cool 5 m
