Peaches & Pralines
|Sugar||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Whipping cream||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Ripe peaches/Medium size ripe nectarines||3 Medium, peeled, if desired, then pitted and sliced|
|Pralines||1 1⁄2 Tablespoon|
Caramelize sugar as directed above.
At once, add cream, stirring until sauce is smooth.
Remove from heat; stir in rum.
Use warm or let cool.
If made ahead, chill in a covered container up to 1 week.
To reheat, stir in pan over low heat just until warm.
Spoon peaches onto 4 dessert plates.
Pour sauce over fruit; top with pralines.
