Turkey Breast with Old Fashioned Dressing
|Diced onion||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Diced celery||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Diced mushrooms||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chicken stock/Turkey stock / bouillon||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Corn bread stuffing mix||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Minced fresh parsley||1 Tablespoon|
Combine onion, celery and butter in an au gratin-type dish just large enough to accommodate all ingredients.
Cover with waxed.paper and cook on High 3 minutes.
Stir Add mushrooms and cook 1 minute.
Add stock or bouillon and blend well.
Add stuffing mix and toss lightly, adding more liquid if necessary (mixture should be moist but not soggy).
Set turkey on dressing.
Sprinkle with paprika and parsley .
Cover with waxed paper and cook on High 7 to 10 minutes per pound.
