"CHICKEN HANDI" OR "CHICKEN MAKHNI".

In the recipe if we add butter it knowned as CHICKEN MAKHNI. If donot add butter knownas CHICKEN HANDI.
Ingredients
  Chicken boneless 1 Kilogram
  Tomatoes 6 Medium
  Chopped onion 1⁄2
  Red chilli powder 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Tumeric powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cumin seeds 1 Teaspoon
  Green chilli 8
  Beaten curd 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Salt To Taste
  Oil 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Fresh cream 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Butter 2 Tablespoon
  Ginger paste 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Garlic paste 1 1⁄2 Tablespoon
Directions

Heat up a pan, put Chicken,chopped Onion, chopped tomatoes, Tumeric powder, Red chilli powder,
Cumni seeds,salt, Ginger-Garlic paste and half cup of water in the pan, and cook it till tender.
Chicken becomes tender, and dry,add Oil in it and sorte few minutes.Add beaten curd and sorte it.
Add green chillies,sorte 1-2 min add fresh cream and prepared pawder of all ingredients put it low flame
for 3-4 min.
Now the dish is ready , dish out and serve it garnish with butter and Ginger julien

That's a very wrong way of making Chicken Handi. Seems some body just wrote it down from a Masala packet without even knowing whats the actual protocol of it LOL

Absolutely wrong Chicken handi, and NO it's not called Chicken Makhani if you add butter. Wonder who wrote this recipe.
