Macadamia Nut Turkey Stuffing
|Bread crumbs||2 Quart|
|Chopped onion||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Garlic||1⁄2 Clove (2.5 gm), minced|
|Celery||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped|
|Chopped celery leaves||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Crushed bay leaves||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Salt||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Egg||1 , beaten|
|Brandy/Sherry wine||1 Tablespoon|
|Macadamia nuts||1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped (Hawaiian)|
Place bread cubes in a large bowl.
Heat skillet, add butter.
Saute onions, garlic, celery and celery leaves.
Add to bread cubes and combine with remaining ingredients.
Toss together lightly.
If stuffing seems very dry, add melted butter, milk or broth to moisten slightly.
Stuff into salted turkey.
