Filbert Stuffing For Turkey
|Bread cubes||4 Quart|
|Chopped filberts||2 Cup (32 tbs) (Toasted)|
|Snipped parsley||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Chopped celery||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Turkey liver||1 , cut in half|
|Milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chopped onion||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Butter/Margarine||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Put all ingredients except onion and butter into a large bowl; set aside.
Cook onion about 3 minutes in hot butter in a skillet.
Add to ingredients in bowl; toss lightly to mix.
Lightly spoon into body and neck cavities of turkey (do not pack).
