|Frozen hash brown potatoes||32 Ounce, thawed (1 Package)|
|Butter||1 Cup (16 tbs), melted (About 2 Sticks)|
|Dry minced onion||1 Tablespoon|
|Cream of chicken soup||1 Can (10 oz)|
|Sour cream||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Shredded cheddar cheese||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Crushed cornflakes||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
Combine the hash brown potatoes, half the butter, salt, pepper, onion, cream of chicken soup, sour cream and shredded cheese in a large bowl; mix well.
Spoon into a buttered 9x13inch baking dish.
Combine the cornflakes and remaining 1/2 cup melted butter in a small bowl; mix well.
Sprinkle evenly over the potato mixture.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
