Garlic Potatoes (Patete All'Aglio)

Ingredients
  Potatoes 4 Pound
  Olive oil 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Garlic 3 Clove (15 gm), crushed
  Salt and pepper 1
  Oregano 1 Teaspoon
Directions

Peel and slice the potatoes.
Heat the oil in a flame proof casserole dish.
Saute the garlic until golden brown.
Add the potatoes and toss thoroughly.
Cook over a medium heat for ten minutes.
Bake, uncovered, in a 350°F (180°C) oven for about 45 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.
