Potato Soap

This microwaved potato soup is a quick recipe for a filling snack or supper. Cokked with hash brown potatoes and onions along with flour and milk, the potato soup is simply flavored with salt and pepper and is served with a handful of crumbled bacon on top.
Ingredients
  Bacon slices 4
  Onion 1 Medium, chopped
  Frozen shredded hash brown potatoes 12 Ounce
  Salt 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Margarine/Butter 3 Tablespoon
  Flour 2 Tablespoon
  Milk 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Place bacon in 21/2 quart casserole.
Cover loosely and microwave until crisp, 4 to 5 minutes.
Remove bacon from fat; drain bacon.
Add onion to bacon fat.
Cover and microwave until onion is tender, 3 to 4 minutes.
Add 1/2 cup water and the frozen potatoes.
Cover and microwave until potatoes are thawed, 6 to 7 minutes.
Stir in salt, pepper and margarine.
Shake flour and milk in tightly covered jar; stir into potato mixture with 1 cup water.
Cover and microwave 5 minutes; stir.cover and microwave until mixture boils and thickens slightly, 3 to 5 minutes.
Crumble bacon and sprinkle over top.
