Broiler Fried Potatoes

Ingredients
  Potatoes 4 Medium
  Cold water 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Salt To Taste
  Salad oil 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

Scrub potatoes; peel, and slice about 3/4 inch thick and then into lengthwise strips.
Soak in cold water, about 30 minutes.
While broiler is preheating, drain potatoes, and dry between paper towels.
Spread potatoes in a shallow pan; add salad oil, and stir to coat all potatoes.
Broil 3 inches below heat 15-20 minutes, stirring frequently.
When potatoes are golden brown on all sides, sprinkle with salt, and serve.
