Lemon Buttered New Potatoes
|Potatoes||2 Pound (new)|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), crushed|
|Butter||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), melted|
|Lemon juice||2 Tablespoon|
Wash potatoes, and pare a 1-inch strip around center of each one.
Place potatoes, sugar, salt, and garlic in a large saucepan; cover with water, and bring to a boil.
Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 15 to 20 minutes or until tender; drain well.
Combine butter, lemon juice, and paprika; drizzle over potatoes, and toss gently.
