Pureed Potatoes

Welcome to the kitchen from GialloZafferano and me, Sonia. Today we're here to make a potato puree -- a delicate and tasty vegetable dish especially loved by children

Directions

MAKING
1) Place the potatoes in a pot of boiling water
2) Cook them fir about 40 minutes
3) Test them for doneness using a fork
4) Once cooked drain them and set aside
5) Peel them whilst they are still hot
6) Mash them finely and add milk while hot and stir hot
7) Add butter little by little and season with salt and nutmeg
8) If desired add some cheese
9) Again if desired, ham or mozzarella could also be added

SERVING
10) Serve this dish with a meat main course
