Scalloped Potatoes

Ingredients
  Potatoes 1 1⁄2 Pound, thinly sliced (700 Gram)
  Onion 1 , finely chopped
  Onion 1 , grated or finely chopped
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), crushed
  Milk 1⁄2 Pint (300 Milliliter)
  Vegetable stock cube 1⁄2
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
  Cream 2 Tablespoon
Directions

GETTING READY
1. Set the oven to 350°F/180°C/Gas 4

MAKING
2. In a greased, shallow ovenproof dish, place the potato slices and add a layer of onion, garlic and seasoning
3. Add milk on top and allow to stand for a couple of hours
4. In a little hot milk, melt the stock cube and pour it oven the dish
5. Bake for an hour till the potatoes turn soft and the topping golden

SERVING
6. Pour cream on top, sprinkle with chopped parsely and serve
