Gorgonzola Mashed Potatoes
|New red potatoes||2 Pound, halved (900 Gram)|
|Whole garlic cloves||4 Large|
|Gorgonzola cheese||1⁄4 Pound (113 Gram)|
|Half and half||60 Milliliter (1/4 Cup)|
|Olive oil||2 Tablespoon|
Place potato and garlic cloves in a saucepan with enough water to cover.
Add salt and cook until tender.
Drain and add the cheese, half-and-half, and oil.
Mash by hand; an electric mixer will make the potatoes too gummy.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
