POTATO AND CHEESE PIE
|Potatoes||1 1⁄2 Pound|
|Dry cheese||6 Ounce|
|Chopped parsley||1 Tablespoon|
|Worcestershire sauce||1 Teaspoon|
Peel the potatoes and cut into small squares.
Peel the onions and chop up finely.
Finely grate the cheese, and put the potatoes, onions and cheese (only 5 oz.) in alternate layers in a casserole, seasoning each with pepper and salt, and parsley.
Season the milk with the sauce, and pour into the casserole.
Crate and mix the remaining 1 oz.
of cheese with the breadcrumbs, sprinkle over the top of the pie, put the lid on the casserole and bake in a moderate oven till the top is lightly brown and the contents are cooked.
