Scalloped Potatoes and Green Tomato Bake
|Unpeeled potatoes||8 Medium, thinly sliced|
|Green tomatoes||3 Large, thinly sliced|
|Onion||1 Medium, diced|
|Flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Cheddar cheese||1 Pound, grated|
|Bacon||1⁄4 Pound, browned and crumbled|
|Milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Butter a large baking dish.
Put a layer of potatoes on the bottom.
Cover with a layer of green tomatoes.
Sprinkle on a little bit of onion, flour, Cheddar cheese, bacon, salt, and pepper.
Continue layering until dish is full; end with layer of cheese.
Pour milk over the top; bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until potatoes are cooked and bubbling brown on top.
