Baked French Fries
|White potatoes||5 Large, pared|
|Melted butter/Margarine / fat / salad oil||5 Tablespoon|
|Salt||1 3⁄4 Teaspoon|
Cut each potato into 8 or 10 lengthwise strips, 1/2" wide and 3/8" thick.
Arrange in baking pan so that they don't overlap.
Pour melted butter over them; sprinkle with salt, and bake in hot oven of 450°F for 30 min., or until tender, turning them over occasionally.
