Beef Ring With Mashed Potatoes's picture
  Ground beef 1 Pound
  Dry bread crumbs 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Milk 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Catsup 3 Tablespoon
  Finely chopped onion 2 Tablespoon
  Worcestershire sauce 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Mashed potato buds 28 Ounce (1 package)
  Cheddar cheese strip 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Frozen green beans/Peas 10 Ounce, cooked and drained (1 package)
  Butter 1 Tablespoon

Heat oven to 350°.
Mix ground beef, bread crumbs, milk, and seasonings.
Form meat mixture into a ring in 9" pie pan, leaving center large enough for the mashed potatoes.
Bake 30 min.
Prepare potatoes as directed on package for 4 servings.
Remove meat from oven.
(If drippings have accumulated in center, use a baster to remove before adding potatoes.
Drippings may be used for gravy, if desired.) Fill center of ring with potatoes.
Place strips of cheese over potatoes.
Bake 10 min longer, or until cheese melts.
Butter green vegetables and arrange around meat ring.
