Mashed Potatoes With Sage Onions

Ingredients
  Potatoes 6 Medium
  Salt To Taste
  Milk 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Pepper To Taste
  Onions 4 Medium, sliced thin
  Ground sage 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

Cook peeled potatoes in boiling salted water until tender; drain.
Mash well with hot milk and 1/4 cup butter; season with salt and pepper to taste.
Keep warm.
Cook onions in 1/4 cup butter until golden brown and tender.
Sprinkle with sage, salt, and pepper.
Serve on potatoes.
