Low Fat Oven Fries

Ingredients
  Russet potatoes 2 3⁄4 Pound, peeled
  Vegetable oil 2 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

Preheat the oven to 475°F.
Cut the potatoes lengthwise into 1/2-inch-thick slices.
Stack the slices, a few at a time, and cut them lengthwise into 1/2-inch-wide sticks.
Place the potato sticks on a baking sheet.
Toss with the oil and salt and spread in a single layer.
Bake the potatoes for 15 minutes, or until browned on the bottom.
Turn the potatoes over with a spatula.
Continue baking for about 10 minutes longer, or until cooked through and golden brown.
Serve immediately.
