Oven Gratin Potatoes
|Potatoes||3 Large, peeled, sliced and placed in cold water|
|Cayenne pepper||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Pepper white||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Fresh parsley||1 Tablespoon, chopped|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), peeled|
|Eggs||2 , beaten|
|Milk||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Heavy cream||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Preheat oven to 350 Â°F (180 Â°C).
Drain potatoes and dry slices well. Place in bowl.
Mix savory, cayenne pepper, white pepper and parsley together. Add to potatoes and mix.
Rub baking dish with garlic clove. Butter dish generously and arrange potato slices in layers. Season with salt.
Mix eggs, milk and cream together. Pour over potatoes. Bake in oven 40 to 50 minutes.
