Beef Andtomato Topped With Mashed Potatoes
|Onion||1 , finely chopped|
|Celery stalk||1 , chopped|
|Green pepper||1 , chopped|
|Garlic||3 Clove (15 gm), smashed and chopped|
|Lean ground beef||1 Pound|
|Dry mustard||1 Teaspoon|
|Canned tomatoes||28 Ounce, drained and chopped|
|Tomato juice||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Mashed potatoes||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Melted butter||2 Tablespoon|
Preheat oven to 375 Â°F (190 Â°C).
Heat oil in frying pan over medium heat. Add onion, celery, pepper and garlic. Cook 3 minutes.
Add herbs, beef and mustard. Season with salt and pepper; cook 8 minutes over medium heat.
Incorporate tomatoes and tomato juice. Continue cooking 3 minutes.
Transfer mixture to baking dish. Cover with mashed potatoes and sprinkle lightly with melted butter. Cook 20 minutes in oven.
