Plain Oven Fried Potatoes
|Melted butter/Margarine / vegetable oil||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Wash and pare potatoes; cut each into 4 thick slices.
Dip slices in butter and arrange in shallow baking pan.
Cover pan with foil.
Bake at 425° for 10 minutes.
Remove foil; continue to bake about 30 minutes or until delicately brown, turning once.
