Pan Fried Potatoes

|Crisco||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
Wash and peel the potatoes.
Cut potatoes in 1/8-inch slices.
Season with salt and pepper.
In a covered skillet, fry potatoes in hot Crisco over medium heat for 10 minutes.
Turn potatoes carefully.
Cook, uncovered, about 10 minutes longer, loosening slices of potatoes occasionally and browning all sides.
